Frontend Student Developer

The increased accessibility and diversity of biometric sensors is changing the world of human behavior research – from psychology to neuromarketing, UX design, and beyond. Do you want to be part of an international team in central Copenhagen developing the world’s leading biometric research platform?

iMotions is looking for a student developer familiar with web frontend development; our platform is built using React, Bootstrap, and TypeScript. You will be working on our browser-based tool for study and participant management. In addition, you will work on data visualizations for data collected using biometric sensors such as eye tracking, EEG, GSR, and facial expression analysis.

The web frontend is part of iMotion’s broader product offering, including a desktop application for data capture developed in C# and a back-end server in Java and Kotlin. We use continuous deployment to quickly iterate on changes. You will be joining a team of around 20 software developers, but will primarily work together with one senior frontend developer, one senior backend developer, and a UX designer.

We’re looking for someone with an educational background in software engineering or computer science, or someone early in their career as a professional software developer. Experience with React, Bootstrap, or a similar JavaScript/TypeScript UI framework is required. An interest to work on other parts of the tech stack, such as the Java/Kotlin backend, is a bonus.

iMotions is an informal organization. We appreciate a highly individual and proactive work ethic; your input, such as suggestions to work with new technologies, is taken into account and you have a strong influence on your own work as well as on the future of the organization.
